Accident
Unplanned, uncontrolled event resulting from unsafe acts or occupational
conditions.
Asbestosis
An emphysema-like condition caused by respiratory exposure
to asbestos.
Asphyxiation
Death as a result of a lack of oxygen.
Cardiovascular System
The system of blood vessels and associated organs that support the flow of blood
through the body.
Close Call
An occurrence in which injury or tragedy is narrowly avoided.
Conditioning
Behavior and attitude that a person adopts as a result of exposure to social
environment factors.
Debilitating
Causing impairment, loss of strength or capabilities.
Direct Lighting
Use of a reflector to direct light onto a work area.
Domino Effect
A condition in which an initial event causes a sequence of following events.
